ePoc, already 10 000 downloads !

ePoc, our open-source mobile learning solution, has reached its first 10 000 downloads. Completely free, open source and open to all, it offers training and education stakeholders a simple and ergonomic solution to easily create and share a learning path on mobile while respecting privacy.
Since its launch in 2022, ePoc has been adopted by more than 10 000 users, particularly in the field of National Education, which quickly showed interest in this open and free mobile learning solution. And created collaborative spaces for sharing educational practices based on the use of ePoc.
A training app specifically designed for mobile learning
Thanks to an educational approach adapted to mobile, ePoc electronic Pocket open course offers short and fun content adapted to mobile: videos, podcasts, texts, quizzes, achievement badges, interactive activities, and certificates of attendance.
The ePoc mobile application has been designed to offer great flexibility of use and respect for digital privacy. The content is accessible without creating a user account, without collecting personal data and without needing an internet connection, once the training has been downloaded.
Free and accessible to all, the ePoc app is available on Android and iOS.
ePoc Editor, a simple and ergonomic editor to create your own mobile training sessions
The ePoc solution also includes a desktop editor, ePoc Editor, which is easy to use for creating and sharing your own training sessions.
The ePoc Editor interface allows:
- to create, visualize, and organize the educational pathway
- to integrate and configure ready-to-use components to carry out the various activities of the educational pathway. The available components are videos, audios, texts, badges and various interactive activity formats (QCU/QCM, drag-and-drop, sort, swipe).
To facilitate the discovery of ePoc Editor, "Produce my 1st ePoc" is an ePoc that details the main features of the editor and helps new user to get started.
The ePoc editor desktop application is available on Windows, macOS and Linux.
A mobile learning solution integrated into the Interministerial Open Source Program (SILL)
Since February 2025, the ePoc solution with its two components, ePoc Mobile & ePoc Editor, has been part of the SILL catalogue (Socle Interministériel de Logiciels Libres), which references the free software recommended for the entire administration.
Our digital training ePocs
The ePocs created by Inria Learning Lab are available in the library of the mobile application. They deal with digital-related training topics:
