ePoc goes multi-platform: HTML and SCORM export
22 October 2026

The new versions of the ePoc editor and player mark an important milestone for the project: an ePoc can now be followed in a web browser and integrated into a learning management system (LMS) such as Moodle.
Shaped by your feedback
Since its launch, ePoc has been designed as a mobile app. Throughout training sessions and discussions with the community, one request kept coming back: being able to offer an ePoc to learners who cannot or do not want to install a mobile app.
There are many such cases: pupils who don't have a smartphone or can't use one in class, employees in professional training on locked-down workstations, organisations that already run their courses in an LMS…
To meet these needs, we built a web player along with two new exports in the editor.
From mobile learning to microlearning
This evolution comes with a change of direction. ePoc remains focused on what makes it strong: microlearning, with short, dynamic and interactive content. But it is no longer limited to learning on mobile: it now addresses microlearning in general, whatever the device.
The interfaces are still designed mobile-first, and they have been adapted to provide a good experience in the browser, on desktop as well as on tablet.
Two new exports
🌐 HTML export: your ePoc online, anywhere
The HTML export generates a standalone web version of your ePoc that can be read directly in a browser. The result is a static website that can be hosted on any web server (GitLab Pages, your institution's server, etc.), at the root of a domain or in a subfolder.
📦 SCORM export: your ePoc in your LMS
The SCORM export generates a .zip package (SCORM 1.2) that you can upload as is to Moodle or any other SCORM-compliant platform. When the platform supports it, the learner's progress and score are reported back to it: you can integrate ePocs into your existing courses and follow your learners' activity.
🎬 Automatic video compression
Videos are often what makes an ePoc heavy. The editor now automatically compresses the videos you add: your ePocs are lighter, faster for learners to download, and easier to host or upload to an LMS. Compression is enabled by default and can be turned off in the editor settings.

Also in this release
The editor and the player also come with many improvements: Picture-in-Picture mode for video and audio, overall ePoc duration, a "Credits" section replacing "Authors", an improved score page in badge mode, fixes to the "Dropdown list" activity…
